This amazing collection comes from the estate of Robert “Bob” Roseburg of San Juan Island, Washington. Bob was an Art Teacher, and half-time English and Social Studies Teacher. He taught ceramics and was a talented ceramist himself, many of his own creations are in this auction catalog. Bob was an avid gardener, an excellent cook, a gracious host, and loved to entertain. He welcomed friends to his beautiful home, which he designed, and where he shared his life with his beloved partner of 53 years. He had a lifelong interest in Art, Architecture and Ceramics, and was a world traveler. Bob visited many places including India, France, China, Peru, and Ecuador; he even climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro at age 55. He lived a full life and is remembered by his friends for his joyous laugh and kind heart. We are truly honored to present his impressive collection at auction.
